Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru for a Procurement - Fresher. The role involves handling procurement and purchasing activities, including sourcing high-quality materials, coordinating with suppliers, evaluating vendor proposals, and negotiating contracts. The candidate will assist in maintaining procurement records, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisitions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business needs. Attention to detail, effective communication, and a proactive approach will be essential to excel in this position.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle procurement activities and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic understanding of procurement processes, supply chain management, and vendor sourcing.
- Good negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with vendors and internal teams.
- Proficiency in using spreadsheets, procurement software, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to analyze and evaluate vendor proposals to ensure the best quality and pricing.
- Knowledge of the tile and construction materials industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges.
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
