Responsibilities
- Ensure all communications & correspondences are upto the standards .
- Responsible for accurate & timely PO & Invoice processing.
- Utilize logistics to optimize procedures.
- Supervise orders and equipment to ensure they meet needs.
- Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers, etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction. Plan and track the shipment of final products & check whether they are according to customer requirements.
- Prepare accurate reports for top management.
- Consult, communicate & Review regularly with clients.
- Develop and sustain long-standing relationships with company-approved vendors, informing approved vendors of their responsibilities and obligations .
- Meet suitable vendors to assess their products, inquire about their services, negotiate pricing, and communicate any product or service-related concerns.
- Conducting research on market available/ alternate vendors & suppliers to determine which offer the best pricing and product quality.
- Continually monitoring products/ services provided by vendors, determine which products/ services can be a better capital investment instead of vendorship
- Customer payment followup & recovery responsibility. Preparing customer & vendor cash flow.
- Maintain all purchasing records and documents and work with accounting to resolve invoice discrepancies. Manage the start-up process for new suppliers.
- Understands project scope, scheduling, priority milestones, and discuss payment schedules with top management. Maintain spend/volume reports on key components to enable volume negotiation.
- Perform cost and scenario analysis, and bench marking.
- Review orders for bill of materials for projects and advice of potential savings.
- Developing, leading and executing purchasing strategies
- Crafting negotiation strategies and closing deals with optimal terms .
- Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power Assess, manage and mitigate risks Determine quantity and timing of deliveries .
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
Qualifications
- BS degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration.
Skills
- Proven working experience as Purchasing executive.
- Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management.
- Interest in market dynamics along with business sense
- A knack for negotiation and networking Working experience of vendor management software
- Ability to gather and analyse data and to work with figures Solid judgement along with decision making skills
