Protyze is hiring for a Procurement Executive!
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Executive to manage our procurement department and optimize our supply chain process. The Procurement Executive will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring goods and services required for our organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring cost-effective procurement practices and maintaining a high standard of quality and reliability in our supply chain.
Job Location: Peenya Industrial Area
Work Days: Monday - Saturday
Work Timings: 10am - 7pm
Responsibilities Included but not limited to:
- Manage relationships with suppliers and select and develop new suppliers.
- Procure raw material & packing material.
- Vendor Development.
- Managing 3rd party manufacturer / contract manufacturer.
- Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand.
- Provide management reports and key performance data and monitor cost savings.
- Negotiate and manage contract terms with suppliers to ensure value for money, quality standards and delivery terms with technical and operational input from stakeholders and colleagues.
- Review and negotiate existing agreements to optimise commercial terms.
- Ensure that purchasing policies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality and delivery targets and which enables the company to function and compete effectively in the market.
- Create and review opportunities to implement best practice purchasing policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance and deliver best value and business savings.
- Evaluate the challenges faced by the business and take action to mitigate risks and develop opportunities.
- Develop creative and innovative procurement processes (eProcurement).
- Work with suppliers and have a process in place to measure effective performance, quality and compliance.
- Ensure professional and consistent supplier management is applied across the supply base in line with the purchasing policy.
- To Co-ordinate with warehouses & production unit regularly and guide in proper inventory management on a day to day basis.
- Working knowledge on import clearance will be an added advantage.
- Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self, staff and visitors.
- Well experienced in Import clearance and regulations involved in the clearance.
Qualifications and Experience Levels:
- 3+ years experience in the relevant industry (Nutraceutical/FMCG) is a must.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar role, with a track record of successful procurement and cost-saving initiatives.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, supply chain management, and vendor management.
- Familiarity with procurement software and systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
