Role Description The Procurement Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities, including identifying suppliers, requesting and evaluating quotations, and preparing purchase orders in line with company policies. The Procurement Executive coordinates with internal stakeholders to understand requirements, ensures timely delivery of materials and services, and maintains accurate procurement records. The role involves monitoring vendor performance, optimizing costs, and supporting compliance with contractual and quality standards. Daily responsibilities also include resolving order discrepancies, maintaining strong supplier relationships, and contributing to continuous improvement in procurement processes.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, purchase orders, and purchase management, with experience in vendor sourcing and negotiation.
- Demonstrated analytical skills for evaluating quotations, comparing costs, and preparing data-driven recommendations.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, and international stakeholders.
- Proficiency with procurement or ERP software, spreadsheets, and basic data analysis tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in industrial procurement, preferably within oil, gas, petrochemical, or manufacturing environments.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines.
