As part of our continued growth in Bangalore, we are looking for a capable and execution-focused Procurement Executive who can independently support procurement requirements across project sites and ensure smooth material sourcing for turnkey interior fit-out and civil projects.
Role Summary
We are looking for a Procurement Executive with strong experience in interior fit-out and civil project procurement. The candidate will be responsible for material sourcing, vendor coordination, quotation comparison, purchase order processing, material tracking, and procurement documentation.
The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of the Bangalore supplier market and the ability to coordinate effectively with vendors, QS teams, project managers, site engineers, and accounts teams to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality-focused procurement support.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor Development & Supplier Coordination
• Identify, evaluate, and maintain reliable vendors and suppliers in Bangalore.
• Source materials required for interior fit-out and civil works, including:
- Plywood, laminates, veneers, and boards
- Hardware and fittings
- Electrical and plumbing materials
- False ceiling materials
- Tiles, flooring, and civil materials
- Fabrication, glass, and metal works
- Modular furniture and carpentry materials
- • Support onboarding of new vendors and maintain an updated vendor database.
- • Develop alternate vendor options to improve pricing, availability, and delivery timelines.
Procurement & Cost Optimization
• Obtain quotations from multiple vendors and prepare proper comparison sheets.
• Support negotiation with suppliers to achieve competitive rates and better payment terms.
• Coordinate with the QS team for BOQ alignment, material specifications, and quantity validation.
• Identify cost-efficient material options without compromising quality and project requirements.
• Support project teams in reducing procurement delays, wastage, and unnecessary material cost escalation.
Purchase Order & Material Tracking
• Prepare, process, and coordinate Purchase Orders as per approved requirements.
• Track order status, dispatch schedules, delivery timelines, and material receipt at site.
• Coordinate with vendors and site teams to ensure materials are delivered as per project schedule.
• Follow up regularly for pending materials, urgent site requirements, and delivery commitments.
Project Coordination
Work closely with:
• Project Managers
• Site Engineers
• Quantity Surveyors
• Accounts Department
• Vendors and subcontractors
• Monitor material usage against BOQ to avoid wastage, excess ordering, or shortage at site.
• Ensure proper coordination between office procurement, site execution, and accounts documentation.
Documentation & ERP Management
• Maintain procurement records, vendor details, quotation comparisons, and PO documentation.
• Update procurement transactions in ERP / Zoho systems.
• Support GRN verification, invoice coordination, and documentation required by the accounts team.
• Ensure proper filing and tracking of procurement-related documents for future reference and audits.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 3–5 years of experience in interior fit-out / civil project procurement.
• Good understanding of Bangalore material supplier and vendor ecosystem.
• Strong negotiation, vendor coordination, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to understand BOQs, material specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Basic knowledge of ERP / procurement software is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, execution-driven project environment.
Preferred Background
• Diploma / BE in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience in commercial interior fit-out projects.
• Experience coordinating with project execution teams, QS teams, and site engineers.
• Existing vendor and supplier network in Bangalore will be an added advantage.
Compensation
• CTC Range: ₹3,00,000 – ₹4,00,000 per annum, based on experience and capability.
