Role Description
Job Title: Manager – Procurement
Location: Bangalore

Reports To: COO / MD
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Manager – Procurement with a strong background in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) to lead procurement of electronic components for our organization. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in sourcing components like ASICS, ICs, Mosfets, Resistors, Chips, PCBs, and Capacitors, along with strong costing, vendor management, and contract negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead procurement of electronic components, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Source, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate contracts and optimize procurement costs.
• Conduct BOM analysis and cost benchmarking.
• Use SAP MM module for procurement, inventory, and supplier management.
• Report on spend, supplier performance, and market trends.
• Collaborate with design and production teams for component selection and testing.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) or related field.
• 15+ years experience in procurement within Electronics/Automotive industries.
• Strong knowledge of electronic components: ASICS, ICs, Mosfets, Resistors, Chips, PCBs, Capacitors.
• Expertise in SAP MM module and MS Office.
• Excellent negotiation, supplier management, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English (written & spoken).
