Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator to support procurement operations, vendor management, and purchase processes. This role ensures timely procurement of goods and services while maintaining compliance, cost efficiency, and strong supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Purchase Order Management
- Create, review, and process purchase orders
- Track order status and ensure timely delivery
- Coordinate with internal teams for procurement requirements
- Vendor Management
- Identify and onboard new vendors
- Maintain vendor database and performance tracking
- Handle supplier negotiations and issue resolution
- Procurement Operations
- Ensure smooth flow of materials from supplier to warehouse
- Support inventory and consumption planning
- Coordinate dispatch and stock movement
- Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain procurement records and audit trails
- Generate procurement and spending reports
- Track stock ageing and inventory status
- Compliance & Controls
- Ensure procurement processes follow compliance standards
- Support internal and external audits
- Work closely with compliance teams for process transparency
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in procurement/supply chain
- Strong Excel and ERP (SAP/Orion preferred) skills
- Good negotiation and vendor management skills
- High attention to detail and organizational ability
- Ability to work according to EMEA time zone (12PM to 9PM)
- Willingness to travel to Nigeria, Ghana, Egypt and South Africa as required
