Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly driven and commercially strong Procurement Category Delegate to manage sourcing and procurement activities for Printing, Packaging, Promotional Merchandise, Marketing Collaterals, and Variable Data Printing categories. The role will be responsible for supplier management, commercial negotiations, sourcing strategy execution, operational coordination, and ensuring timely delivery across multiple business requirements and client programs.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in print production, promotional sourcing, supplier development, packaging materials, and procurement operations with the ability to work in a fast-paced cross-functional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities for:
- Printed materials
- Variable data printing
- Direct mail campaigns
- Promotional merchandise
- Packaging materials
- Marketing collaterals
- Corporate gifting items
• Develop and execute category sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, service, and delivery performance.
• Identify, onboard, and manage suppliers across India and global markets.
• Lead RFQ/RFP processes, commercial negotiations, supplier benchmarking, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Coordinate closely with Client Success, Operations, Production, Planning, and Finance teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Drive supplier performance management including quality, lead time, compliance, capacity, and risk assessments.
• Ensure proper planning and procurement alignment based on demand forecasts and customer requirements.
• Support urgent and strategic customer programs while balancing procurement controls and governance.
• Maintain procurement MIS, spend analytics, supplier database, and reporting dashboards.
• Work on continuous improvement initiatives, process standardization, and operational efficiencies.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
• Strong understanding of printing technologies, promotional products, packaging, and print production workflows.
• Experience in sourcing from commercial printers, packaging suppliers, promotional vendors, and marketing material suppliers.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Good understanding of procurement systems, ERP tools, and sourcing platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and suppliers simultaneously.
• Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving mindset.
• Experience in global sourcing and supplier development will be an added advantage.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Printing Technology, Packaging, or related field.
• MBA or relevant procurement certifications preferred.
