Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Procurement Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting various procurement operational activities and tasks. This role involves interfacing with and supporting IBM's Procurement Professionals and sourcing processes. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Support Procurement Professionals: Provide assistance and support to procurement professionals in their daily activities, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
- Interface with Sourcing Processes: Collaborate with sourcing teams to facilitate smooth execution of procurement operations, responding promptly to requests and addressing queries.
- Respond to Requests: Quickly address and respond to requests from stakeholders, providing accurate and reliable information to support procurement operations.
- Maintain Operational Efficiency: Perform tasks to maintain operational efficiency, ensuring that procurement activities are executed in a timely and effective manner.
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Exposure to Procurement Operations: Familiarity with procurement operational activities and tasks, including supporting procurement professionals and sourcing processes.
- Experience Working with Sourcing Processes: Understanding of sourcing processes and ability to collaborate with sourcing teams to facilitate smooth execution of procurement operations.
- Basic Communication Skills: Ability to quickly respond to and address requests from stakeholders, providing accurate and reliable information to support procurement operations.
- Task Management: Experience performing tasks to maintain operational efficiency, ensuring that procurement activities are executed in a timely and effective manner.
- Supporting Operational Activities: Exposure to supporting various procurement operational activities and tasks, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Procurement Systems Knowledge: Exposure to procurement systems and tools used to support procurement operational activities and tasks.
- Sourcing Process Understanding: Experience working with sourcing processes and collaborating with sourcing teams to facilitate smooth execution of procurement operations.
- Operational Efficiency Methods: Familiarity with methods and techniques to maintain operational efficiency, ensuring timely and effective execution of procurement activities.
