Role Description
Own end-to-end procurement and supply chain operations like sourcing components and capital equipment, managing imports, and ensuring timely dispatch of finished platforms. The role spans vendor management, inventory control, demand planning, and production support, keeping material flow clean and engineering unblocked.
Qualifications
- Source drone parts, electronics, and capital equipment from domestic and online vendors
- Manage international imports end to end — freight forwarding, customs, duties, and clearance
- Analyze demand and production needs; plan inventory and supply to match project schedules
- Negotiate with vendors, maintain a supplier database, and track pricing and lead times
- Oversee inventory: goods-inward, stock records, storage, and reorder management
- Coordinate dispatch of finished UAVs and subsystems with full documentation
- Maintain procurement records and report cost data to Finance for burn tracking
Requirements:
2–5 years in procurement, supply chain, or logistics hardware, electronics, or manufacturing preferred Hands-on import experience: customs documentation, freight forwarding, and clearance Experience with demand planning, inventory management, and production-aligned supply Strong negotiation and multi-vendor management skills Solid spreadsheet proficiency Comfortable in a defense-sector environment with confidentiality obligations.
Preferred Exposure:
UAV/drone component procurement, GST / e-way bills / HSN classification, SCOMET or defense export-import regulations, DGFT and customs broker coordination.
Preferred Candidate:
Practical, detail-driven operator who can own procurement from demand planning through delivery — startup-ready and onsite full-time in Hyderabad.
