Aura Safety & Risk Consultants is a growing engineering consultancy specializing in Process Safety, Fire Engineering, Risk Assessment, Industrial Safety, ESG/sustainability, construction safety, VR content development, and HSE engineering design.
We work with leading clients across the oil & gas, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, energy, and infrastructure sectors.
We are looking for a technically strong Process Safety Engineer with 3-5 yrs experience band who is passionate about solving complex engineering challenges and delivering high-quality consulting services.
Role Description
~ Execute and lead Process Hazard Analysis (HAZOP, HAZID, HIRA, SIL).
~ Perform Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) using PHAST or equivalent consequence modelling software.
~ Carry out Fire & Gas (F&G) Mapping and detection coverage assessments.
~ Prepare consequence modelling, risk calculations, and technical reports.
~ Review PFDs, P&IDs, plot plans, equipment layouts, and process safety documentation.
~ Participate in client meetings, workshops, and technical presentations.
~ Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver projects on schedule.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Familiarity with relevant safety standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., API, OSHA, CCPS, Indian statutory requirements, international best practices).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills, with the ability to present technical findings clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, manage multiple assignments, and engage with clients in a professional manner.
- 3-5
years of experience in Process Safety Consulting with Hands-on experience in HAZOP, QRA, PHAST, and consequence modelling.
