You will lead the digitization and process redesign of how Alltex runs day to day. This is a hands-on, broad role: you will choose and implement the right software systems, redesign workflows across departments, and own the hiring of the technical team that will help build our internal stack. You will work closely with the COO and Director, reporting to them directly, and run the work independently.
Responsibilities
- Process and systems: Map current workflows across operations, trade desk, accounts, logistics, and HR. Redesign processes and choose, implement, and roll out the right software stack and help in development of the in-house tools.
- Technical hiring: Lead hiring for our in-house tech team end-to-end. Source, screen, interview, and onboard developers, technical operations, and adjacent roles independently. You set the technical bar, run the interview process, and make hiring recommendations directly.
- Documentation and training: Write SOPs, user guides, and training materials. Train teams on the new tools and processes you put in place.
- Reporting: Build dashboards and reports that give leadership a clearer view of the business.
- AI-augmented work: Use AI tools to accelerate process design, documentation, and analytical work.
Requirements
- Engineering background: B. Tech. in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline. We need someone who genuinely understands how software is built and who can talk to developers as a peer.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in operations, process improvement, and technical program management, ideally at a startup or technology-driven company.
- Direct experience hiring for technical roles: developers, data analysts, and technical operations. You have done this end-to-end, not just supported a recruiter.
- Hands-on experience developing and implementing a software system end to end.
