Job Title: Process Lead – Credit Control
Location: Pune
Work Mode: In Office
Experience Required: 5–10 Years
Salary Range: 6 LPA – 11 LPA
Key Responsibilities
1. Credit Control & Collections
- Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) and ensure timely collections from customers
- Monitor ageing reports and drive reduction in overdue balances
- Follow up with clients for outstanding payments and resolve disputes
2. Team Management
- Lead and manage a team of credit controllers (1020 members)
- Set targets, track performance, and conduct regular reviews
- Provide training and process guidance to the team
3. Credit Risk Management
- Evaluate customer creditworthiness and set credit limits
- Ensure adherence to credit policies and compliance standards
- Identify high-risk accounts and take corrective actions
4. Process Improvement & Controls
- Drive automation and process improvement initiatives
- Ensure SOPs are followed and updated regularly
- Strengthen internal controls and audit readiness
5. Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with Sales, Billing, and Finance teams
- Handle escalations from clients and internal stakeholders
- Present reports and insights to senior management
6. Reporting & MIS
- Prepare AR dashboards, collection forecasts, and KPIs
- Track metrics like DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), overdue %, and bad debts
- Provide actionable insights for decision-making
Key Requirements
- Qualified CA / MBA Finance / B.Com with relevant experience
- 6–10 years of experience in Credit Control / Accounts Receivable
- Minimum 2–3 years of team handling experience
- Strong understanding of AR, collections, and credit risk
- Experience in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Leadership and people management skills
- Experience in shared services / GCC / BPO setup (preferred)
