We’re hiring a Hiring Process Head – Solar Module Manufacturing
Location: Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra, India

About the Role
LNK Energy is building a next-generation solar manufacturing platform in India. We are looking for a Process Head – Solar Module Manufacturing to lead process engineering across module production lines.
This role will be responsible for driving yield, efficiency, quality, and cost competitiveness, while enabling technology upgrades and scale.
Key Responsibilities
-Process Ownership & Optimization
- Lead end-to-end module manufacturing processes including stringing, lamination, assembly, and testing
- Optimize process parameters to improve throughput, yield, and reliability
- Ensure process standardization across lines
- Yield Improvement & Defect Reduction
- Drive reduction in defects such as microcracks, soldering issues, delamination, and misalignment
- Lead RCA, DOE, and CAPA initiatives
- Improve first pass yield (FPY)
- Technology & Process Development
- Lead implementation of advanced module technologies (MBB, bifacial, glass-glass)
- Support new product introduction and line upgrades
- Evaluate new materials and processes
- Cost & Performance Optimization
- Improve material utilization and reduce scrap
- Optimize consumables, utilities, and cycle times
- Drive cost per watt reduction
- Data & Digitalization
- Leverage MES and data systems for monitoring and improvement
- Enable data-driven decision making and predictive insights
- Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and mentor process engineering teams
- Work closely with production, quality, R&D, and supply chain
- Support audits, certifications, and compliance
Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in solar module manufacturing processes
- Deep understanding of stringing, lamination, and module reliability
- Hands-on experience with Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, DOE
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, or Production Engineering
- Six Sigma certification preferred
Preferred Experience: 10–12+ years
- Experience in GW-scale manufacturing
- Exposure to advanced module technologies (TOPCon, bifacial, glass-glass)
- Experience in plant setup, ramp-up, or expansion
