Position Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Order Management Specialist to act as a central interface between customers, partners, and suppliers in a global environment. The role involves managing quotations, service orders, procurement, and project execution while ensuring high delivery reliability and customer satisfaction.
You’ll Make a Difference By
Order & Quotation Management
- Act as the primary point of contact between customers, partners, and suppliers (national & international).
- Independently prepare and manage customer quotations in alignment with organizational guidelines.
- Handle service orders end-to-end – from inquiry and quotation to execution and closure.
- Analyze customer specifications, technical requirements, and contractual agreements to ensure accurate execution.
Project Coordination & Execution
- Manage customer orders and ensure smooth, timely, and quality delivery.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Technical Support, and cross-functional teams.
- Coordinate project planning activities and handle disruptions with quick, solution-oriented actions.
- Proactively communicate with customers regarding project updates and issues.
Process Improvement & Strategy
- Develop quotations in cooperation with Engineering while ensuring commercial and technical feasibility.
- Evaluate delivery capabilities and improve quotation strategies.
- Actively suggest and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
Procurement & Supply Chain Management
- Perform demand planning and manage supplier relationships
- Oversee procurement activities including sourcing of materials and services.
- Coordinate logistics and shipping, ensuring compliance with all export regulations.
- Manage partner interactions for optimized supply chain performance.
Quality, Claims & Cost Management
- Handle Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and claim management.
- Monitor and optimize project costs through effective issue resolution.
- Ensure adherence to contractual and operational standards.
Your success is grounded
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering / supply chain / business administration / related field OR equivalent experience.
- 3years –5 years of experience in order management, quotation preparation, logistics, or project execution.
- Experience in service business domain is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of quotation management and contract interpretation.
- Experience with SAP and MS Office tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Proactive, customer-focused attitude with high ownership.
- Fluent in English (mandatory).
- German language skills are highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in PM@Siemens or equivalent project management certification.
- Exposure to global supply chains and export compliance.
