Role Summary
The Process Excellence Specialist – MPS will support the Global Operations Planning (GOP) team by strengthening Master Production Scheduling (MPS) ways of working.
This role focuses on transforming MPS from a reactive execution approach to a structured, well-governed process through activity structuring, facilitation, performance tracking, and documentation. The role will work closely with planning, manufacturing, and site teams to drive consistent execution and operational discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess current-state MPS processes and identify maturity gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Design and implement structured MPS workflows, planning calendars, and capacity review cadence.
- Facilitate MPS and capacity review discussions, ensuring action items are tracked and executed.
- Develop and maintain MPS documentation, including SOPs, process playbooks, and best practices.
- Establish execution discipline through trackers, dashboards, and governance frameworks.
- Collaborate with supply planning, manufacturing, and site teams to ensure planning alignment and process adherence.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency and operational transparency.
Required Skills & Capabilities
- Strong understanding of Master Production Scheduling (MPS) and its role in operations planning.
- Excellent process structuring and execution discipline.
- Ability to organize, document, and standardize complex operational processes.
- Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Expertise in creating high-quality documentation, process maps, presentations, and tracking tools.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.

- 4–7 years of experience in:
- Supply Chain Planning
- Operations Planning
- Manufacturing Planning
- Consulting
- Process Excellence / Transformation
- Exposure to global planning teams or Global Capability Centre (GCC) environments is an advantage.
- Experience in process improvement or transformation initiatives is highly desirable.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or Industrial Management.
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
