Job details:
The Process Excellence Officer is responsible for improving operational efficiency,
standardizing business processes, implementing SOPs, reducing process gaps, and driving
continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
The role focuses on:
• Process optimization
• SOP implementation
• Productivity improvement
• Operational excellence
• Automation support
• Process monitoring and performance enhancement
The officer works closely with all departments to improve speed, quality, efficiency, and
scalability of operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. SOP Development & Implementation
• Develop and document SOPs for all business functions
• Ensure SOP implementation across departments
• Conduct process walkthroughs and SOP training
• Review and update SOPs periodically
2. Process Improvement
• Identify operational inefficiencies and process bottlenecks
• Recommend process redesign and workflow improvements
• Reduce turnaround time (TAT) and operational delays
• Improve coordination between departments3. Operational Excellence Initiatives
• Drive continuous improvement projects
• Support Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and automation initiatives
• Improve process standardization across locations
• Enhance productivity and operational discipline
4. Process Monitoring & Control
• Monitor process adherence and operational KPIs
• Conduct process reviews and gap analysis
• Identify recurring operational issues
• Ensure process consistency across branches/plants
5. Automation & System Improvement
• Coordinate with ERP/IT teams for workflow automation
• Improve CRM and ERP process integration
• Reduce manual dependency in operations
• Support digital transformation initiatives
6. Cross-Functional Coordination
• Work closely with:
o Sales
o Supply Chain
o Manufacturing
o Finance
o Commercial
o HR
o Service teams
• Ensure smooth execution of interdepartmental processes
7. Data Analysis & MIS
• Prepare process performance MIS
• Analyze productivity and operational efficiency
• Track process KPIs and improvement projects
• Present findings and recommendations to managementDepartment-wise Process Excellence Areas
