Company Description
At Skil Global Business Solution, we work directly on the shopfloor to drive measurable operational improvements. We are looking for a Process Excellence Engineer who thrives in execution—someone who can implement Lean practices, drive 5S systems, and create visible impact in manufacturing environments. This is not a desk role. You will be working closely with plant teams to identify inefficiencies, implement improvements, and build a culture of operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
5S Implementation & Deployment
- Lead end-to-end 5S implementation across production and warehouse
- Conduct audits, red-tagging, and workplace organization
- Establish visual management systems and audit mechanisms
Shopfloor Execution
- Conduct daily Gemba walks and track abnormalities
- Run review meetings and ensure action closure
- Drive ownership among operators and supervisors
Process Improvement
- Map processes and identify waste (Muda)
- Perform root cause analysis (Why-Why, Fishbone, Pareto)
- Implement Lean improvements to reduce inefficiencies
Performance Tracking
- Define and monitor KPIs (audit scores, productivity, time savings)
- Build dashboards and quantify impact
Training & Capability Building
- Train teams on 5S and Lean practices
- Conduct workshops and drive behavioral change
Standardization & Sustenance
- Develop SOPs and visual controls
- Conduct audits and sustain improvement systems
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
- B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, Production, or related field
Experience:
- 1–4 years in manufacturing or process improvement roles
Preferred:
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
- Exposure to FMCG / Food manufacturing
Key Skills:
- Strong understanding of Lean & 5S
- Problem-solving and data-driven thinking
- Strong shopfloor presence and execution mindset
- Ability to influence and drive ownership
