Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Process Engineer role based in Noida. The Process Engineer will develop and optimize process designs for fired heaters, boilers, and waste heat recovery units, including heat transfer calculations, equipment sizing, and performance evaluations. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing operating data, supporting process control improvements, preparing technical documentation, and contributing to heater revamp studies focused on capacity, efficiency, and emissions. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, assisting in troubleshooting plant issues, and providing process input for proposals and project execution. The Process Engineer may also support training activities and client meetings by preparing technical materials and presenting process-related findings.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Process Engineering and Chemical Engineering, with the ability to apply core principles to fired heaters, boilers, and heat recovery units.
- Proficiency in Process Design, including heat and mass balance, equipment sizing, and system optimization.
- Knowledge of Process Control concepts, instrumentation, and control strategies relevant to thermal equipment.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills for interpreting operating data, diagnosing performance issues, and recommending improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
- Experience with engineering software tools (e.g., process simulation or calculation packages) is beneficial.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional engineering teams.
- Attention to safety, quality, and compliance with applicable industry standards and regulations.
