Role Objective:
Lead process engineering activities to ensure stable, efficient, and scalable manufacturing processes for cable assemblies and connectivity products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the process engineering team across production lines.
• Develop, optimize, and standardize manufacturing processes.
• Drive yield improvement, scrap reduction, and cycle time optimization.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for process related failures.
• Implement process capability improvement (Cp, Cpk).
• Establish process documentation (WI, SOP, Control Plans).
• Support new product introduction (NPI) transfer to manufacturing.
• Work closely with Quality, Production, and R&D teams.
• Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate and introduce automation opportunities in cable assembly processes.
• Ensure process compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and support staff.
Preferred Experience
- 12–15 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing, or operations.
- Experience in Fiber Optics background will be added advantage
- Proven track record of driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and leading process transformation projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, Production, Manufacturing, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Master's degree or MBA is an advantage.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is preferred.
