Job Description
1. Develop and standardize manufacturing processes for aerospace components and assemblies.
2. Define process flow diagrams, manufacturing routings, and work instructions.
3. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) from design phase to full-scale production.
4. Develop and maintain 3D models and 2D drawings using Siemens NX CAD for aerospace components and assemblies.
5. Create detailed manufacturing drawings complying with GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and customer specifications.
6. Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards such as AS9100 and AS9102.
7. Conduct Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and implement risk controls.
8. Perform process validation, qualification, and capability studies (CP, CPK).
9. Support First Article Inspection (FAI) and production readiness reviews.
10. Provide technical support to shop floor teams to resolve production issues.
11. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost, scrap, and cycle time.
12. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
13. Collaborate with design, quality, supply chain, and production teams.
14. Support tooling design, process automation, and productivity improvements.
15. Ensure accurate documentation and change management for all process changes.
16. Support supplier process development, qualification, and audits.
17. Promote safety, regulatory compliance, and best manufacturing practices.
