📌 Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer with experience in plant operations, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities within the petroleum refinery or petrochemical industry. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in process systems, safety studies, and operational hazard analysis, ensuring safe and efficient plant operations.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Support plant operations, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities
- Review and interpret P&IDs, process flow diagrams (PFDs), equipment layouts, and instrumentation details
- Participate in basic process engineering and process system reviews
- Conduct and support safety studies such as HAZOP and risk assessments
- Verify process logic, interlocks, and control systems
- Analyze operational hazards and ensure safe startup and shutdown procedures
- Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams for smooth project execution
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations
⚙️ Required Technical Knowledge
Strong understanding of key process equipment, including:
- Distillation Columns
- Furnaces
- Compressors
- Chillers
- Steam Systems
- Utility Systems
Additional knowledge:
- Operational hazards and safety protocols in refinery/petrochemical plants
- Control systems, interlocks, and process automation
