Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Process Engineer role based in Rewari. The Process Engineer will design, optimize, and standardize manufacturing processes for steering systems and related automotive components, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity targets are met. Responsibilities include analyzing production data, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing process improvements using lean and problem-solving methodologies. The role involves preparing and updating process documentation, work instructions, and control plans, as well as coordinating with production, maintenance, quality, and design teams to support new product introductions and line modifications. The Process Engineer will also monitor process parameters, support root cause analysis for process deviations, and drive cost reduction, waste minimization, and continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Process Engineering and Process Design, with the ability to develop, optimize, and standardize manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in Process Control and Analytical Skills to monitor key parameters, interpret data, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Educational background in Chemical Engineering or related engineering discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Production, Industrial) with relevant process engineering experience in manufacturing.
- Familiarity with automotive or precision manufacturing environments, including exposure to lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and quality tools (e.g., PFMEA, control plans, SPC).
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, strong communication skills, and a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
