The Role
As a Process Designer Level II with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.
- Draft and review:
- Block Flow Diagrams (BFD).
- Process Flow Diagrams (PFD).
- Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).
- Translate process engineering concepts and calculations into detailed design drawings.
- Ensure adherence to project specifications, client requirements, and industry standards.
- Create and manage designs using:
- AutoCAD.
- MicroStation.
- COMOS.
- CAD Worx.
- Smart Plant P&ID (SPP&ID).
- Aveva Diagram.
- Open Plant PID.
- Maintain drawing databases and ensure proper documentation control.
- Collaborate with:
- Process Engineers.
- Mechanical, Instrumentation, and Piping teams.
- Integrate inputs from various disciplines into cohesive design outputs.
- Ensure timely completion of deliverables within project schedules.
- Perform drawing checks and ensure compliance with:
- Project standards.
- Company and client-specific guidelines.
- Maintain high-quality drafting standards and consistency.
- Maintain accurate records of design revisions and updates.
- Support engineering change management and document control processes.
About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Chemical preferred).
- 15+ years of relevant experience in process design and drafting.
- Strong expertise in PFD and P&ID development.
- Good understanding of:
- Process engineering principles.
- Equipment layouts and piping systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Effective communication and coordination skills.
- Time management and multitasking abilities.
