A Process Controllermonitors and adjusts automated, industrial, or digital systems to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and safety. They operate machinery or software from control rooms, analyze data trends to prevent errors, perform maintenance, and adhere to strict safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Control: Monitor and manage industrial plant equipment, such as distillation or mixing units, to achieve KPIs and maintain product quality.
System Monitoring: Utilize Distributed Control Systems (DCS) or Program Logic Controllers (PLCs) to oversee automated processes and respond to alerts.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve equipment failures, process deviations, or software bugs.
Compliance Safety: Ensure adherence to safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, GMP) and environmental policies.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of operational data, adjustments made, and shift activities.
