The Process Associate (PA) plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth last-mile delivery station operations. The candidate will be responsible for inbound and outbound processes, parcel sorting, load allocation, dispatch coordination, and maintaining operational efficiency within the station. The role requires strong operational discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities1. Inbound Operations
Receive shipments from upstream hubs and ensure accurate unloading and scanning of parcels.
Verify parcel counts and maintain proper inbound reconciliation records.
Report damaged shipments or count mismatches immediately to station leadership.
2. Outbound Operations
Supervise parcel sorting as per route, zone, and delivery associate allocation.
Ensure timely dispatch of shipments to delivery associates.
Monitor dispatch timelines and maintain SLA compliance.
3. Parcel Sorting & Load Assignment
Ensure accurate and efficient parcel sorting operations.
Allocate delivery loads according to route planning and operational capacity.
Maintain proper bagging, labeling, and handover procedures.
4. Compliance & Safety
Follow all Amazon/EDSP SOPs and operational guidelines.
Ensure workplace safety and adherence to company compliance standards.
Conduct routine checks to maintain operational discipline and safety practices.
5. Technology & Reporting
Operate scanners, handheld devices, and logistics dashboards efficiently.
Maintain accurate operational data and prepare daily MIS reports.
Support process improvement initiatives through proper system usage.
6. Team Support
Coordinate with Station Managers and supervisors for daily operational execution.
Assist in onboarding and training new associates on station SOPs.
Promote teamwork, accountability, and operational discipline.
Candidate Requirements
Graduate in any discipline preferred.
1–3 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, courier, or delivery operations preferred.
Basic knowledge of parcel handling and dispatch processes.
Familiarity with MS Excel and handheld scanning devices.
Ability to work in rotational shifts and high-volume operational environments.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
