Schedule
Monday - Friday 2:30PM - 11:30PM
Training for all night shift employees is done on the day shift. Schedule flexibility to meet this requirement is required for consideration.
What You Will Do
- Set up and operate a converting bag machine.
- Adjust, repair, and maintain the machinery; performing the most complex work with the assistance of maintenance personnel.
- Train operators to make minor to mid adjustments and repairs on machinery.
- Read work orders to ensure correct material use and quality specifications.
- Perform quality inspections periodically to ensure manufactured product meets standards.
- Provide feedback to the Production Supervisors & Production Manager on machine upkeep and issues.
- Set print and gauge printers.
- Lead by example, with a positive outlook, through practice and work habit, a desire to follow all policies and procedures in the plan environment to develop and maintain a safe, efficient, high quality, low waste workplace and maximize the development of the personnel they lead.
- Demonstrate the ability to accomplish tasks through thoughtful delegation to others in the work group.
- Train, coach and enforce all company safety policies.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed, including Saturdays and holidays.
What you Bring
- Ability to work independently and confidently in a fast-paced environment—someone who takes initiative and manages their own workflow effectively.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and problem-solving, with the ability to quickly assess issues and make sound decisions on the floor.
- Physically capable of standing, bending, walking, twisting, and lifting up to 50 lbs as part of daily work.
- Flexible team player willing to assist with additional tasks to support smooth plant operations.
- Prior machine maintenance experience is required.
