<div>We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic/Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Pro Truss and Panel, LLC. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of performing inspections and completing preventive maintenance schedules on semi-trucks and equipment.<br><br>
</div><div>Job Duties:<br><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Perform inspections on semi-trucks and equipment</li>
<li>Completing preventive maintenance schedules</li>
<li>Responsible for diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems, electrical trouble shooting, steering and cooling systems.</li>
<li>Perform truck and trailer annual inspections</li>
<li>Perform repairs such as wiring, lighting, brakes, suspension, and others</li>
<li>Complies with federal and state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards.</li>
<li>Maintains vehicle records by annotating services and repairs.</li>
<li>Keeps shop equipment operating by; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs<strong>.</strong>
</li>
<li>Keeps supplies and parts ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.</li>
<li>Enhances maintenance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.</li>
<li>Maintain a clean organized work area.</li>
<li>Build positive relationships with truck drivers and vendor contacts</li>
</ul><div>Skills and Requirements:<br><br>

<li>Must have 1 year of heavy truck repair experience</li>
<li>Strong troubleshooting skills</li>
<li>Deadline and detail oriented</li>
<li>Good communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to work in fast paced environment</li>
<li>Drivers License</li>
<li>Clean Driving Record</li>
<li>Skilled in welding</li>
