Privileged Access Management (PAM) Lead – CyberArk & HashiCorp Vault Integration
Job Title: Privileged Access Management (PAM) Lead
Role Type: Individual Contributor / Technical Lead (Program Delivery +
Hands-on configuration)
Role Summary
We are seeking a Privileged Access Management (PAM) Lead to drive enterprise discovery, onboarding, and operationalization of privileged identities across applications and infrastructure. This role will lead end-to-end execution across privileged account discovery/inventory, CyberArk onboarding (using out-of-the-box capabilities), governance/standards, and stakeholder alignment. The PAM Lead will also partner closely with the Secrets Management workstream to ensure consistent identity and credential patterns across the enterprise secrets platform (e.g., HashiCorp), including integration planning, testing, documentation, and cutover readiness.
Required Qualifications:
* Hands-on experience delivering PAM programs, including privileged
account discovery/inventory and onboarding at scale.
* Strong CyberArk implementation experience (e.g., safes/platforms,
CPM password rotation, AAM integrations; familiarity with PSM plugins is a
plus), with a focus on out-of-the-box configuration.
* Working knowledge of identity types and platforms: Windows/Linux,
databases (Oracle/MSSQL and cloud databases), service accounts,
certificates/SSH keys, CI/CD and Kubernetes secrets.
* Demonstrated ability to drive technical delivery across multiple
stakeholder groups (security, infra, apps) and manage execution via agile
tooling (e.g., JIRA).
Strong documentation and communication skills-able to produce inventories,
onboarding runbooks, test plans/cases, integration patterns, and operational
documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with CyberArk discovery tooling (e.g.,
CyberArk DNA) and/or other automated discovery scanners.
* Experience partnering on or implementing enterprise
secrets management (HashiCorp Vault or equivalent) and/or migrations from
legacy tools (e.g., Conjur).
* Experience integrating security platforms with
Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
* Experience in regulated environments and familiarity
with audit expectations and control evidence.
* Key Deliverables (examples)
* Privileged account and secrets inventory (applications
and infrastructure) with ownership, criticality, and onboarding approach.
* Discovery assessment report including integration
patterns, readiness, risks, constraints, and prioritization recommendations.
* CyberArk onboarding configuration artifacts
(safes/platforms/AD groups/recon accounts) and onboarding runbooks.
* Test coordination artifacts (test plans/cases/results)
for password changes/rotations and integrations.
* Weekly status reporting and maintained delivery
backlog (e.g., JIRA plan with epics/features/stories).
* Tools & Technology (as applicable)
* PAM: CyberArk (CPM, AAM; PSM/PSMP as applicable)
* Secrets (partnering): HashiCorp Vault; legacy secrets
tooling (e.g., Conjur)
* Platforms: Windows, Linux/Unix; databases (Oracle,
MSSQL; AWS Aurora/DynamoDB)
* DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes/containerized
workloads
* Delivery: JIRA (or equivalent) for backlog management
1st Combination:
CyberArk OnPrem - Experience onboarding Service credentials for applications
or application onboarding
CyberArk Secrets Manager - onboarding app credentials and integrations like
GitHub and Ansible
CyberArk Privilege Cloud - experience with integrating Credential provider
and Central Credential Provider
2nd Combination:
HashiCorp Vault - Onboarding and integrating app credentials
