As we continue to grow, we are seeking an Investment Analyst based in India to become an integral part of our transaction execution team.
This role offers significant exposure to live acquisitions, management teams, lenders, advisors, and institutional investors. Successful candidates will work directly with senior investment professionals and develop skills typically acquired at leading investment banks and private equity firms.
Responsibilities You will support all aspects of the investment process, including:
Transaction Execution
- Analyze Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs) and teaser materials
- Prepare investment summaries and preliminary recommendations
- Support due diligence across financial, operational, commercial, and legal workstreams
- Maintain diligence trackers and coordinate requests
- Assist with Quality of Earnings (QoE) review and financial analysis
- Prepare management meeting materials and transaction presentations
Financial Analysis
- Update and maintain financial models
- Perform valuation analyses using comparable companies, precedent transactions, and DCF methodologies
- Analyze historical operating performance and key performance indicators
- Support underwriting and investment committee materials
Industry & Market Research
- Research industries, competitors, market trends, and acquisition targets
- Develop market maps and acquisition target lists
- Monitor public company performance and transaction activity
- Support thematic investment research
Portfolio & Internal Projects
- Prepare board materials and portfolio reporting
- Maintain CRM and pipeline tracking
- Assist with strategic initiatives across the firm
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline
- 2–4 years of experience in:
- Investment Banking
- Private Equity
- Transaction Advisory Services (Big Four)
- Valuation
- Corporate Development
- Financial Consulting
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Exceptional analytical ability and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
Preferred:
- Experience supporting U.S. transactions
- Exposure to lower middle market M&A
- Financial modeling experience
- Experience reviewing Quality of Earnings reports
- CFA Level I or progress toward CFA designation

Working Hours
This position is based in India and requires overlap with U.S. Eastern Time.
Expected overlap:
- Approximately 8:00–11:00 AM Eastern Time (or as needed during live transactions)
