Position: Private Detectives & Investigators (Investigation & Risk Analysis)
Type: Hourly contract
Compensation: $7-$11/hr
Location: Remote
Commitment: 2 Weeks
Role Responsibilities
- Interpret case materials, reports, and evidence to create realistic investigation scenarios
- Analyze information, documentation, and patterns to identify inconsistencies or risks
- Develop structured use cases based on real-world investigations such as fraud review, due diligence, and loss prevention
- Review and validate outputs for logical accuracy, realism, and adherence to investigation standards
- Simulate investigative workflows including evidence review, reporting, and case documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align investigative insights with project requirements
- Identify gaps, red flags, and risk indicators across different case scenarios
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Law, or related field preferred
- Experience in investigations, fraud analysis, loss prevention, insurance investigations, or due diligence
- Strong understanding of investigative processes, documentation, and reporting
- Ability to analyze information critically and maintain objectivity
- Strong attention to detail and logical reasoning skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience in evidence review and documentation
- Interviewing and information-gathering techniques
- Understanding of surveillance logic and investigation workflows
- Knowledge of fraud detection and risk indicators
- Familiarity with compliance and due diligence processes
