Privacy Manager – Data Protection & Governance
📍 Bangalore (Hybrid)
We are looking for an experienced Privacy Manager to lead and strengthen the organization’s enterprise privacy and data protection program. The role will focus on driving privacy governance, regulatory compliance, and privacy-by-design initiatives across business and technology functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the enterprise privacy program and roadmap
- Act as the central governance authority for privacy across the organization
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Business, and Technology teams on privacy initiatives
- Oversee DPIAs, privacy risk assessments, and privacy policy lifecycle management
- Lead regulatory compliance programs including DPDP Act, GDPR, and other data protection regulation
- Manage privacy audits, regulatory interactions, and incident governance
- Drive privacy-by-design adoption across systems, programs, and projects
- Track and report privacy risks, posture, and metrics to leadership
Experience & Skills
- 13–15 years of experience in Risk, Compliance, Security, or Privacy
- 4–6+ years specifically in Privacy / Data Protection programs
- Strong knowledge of data protection regulations (DPDP Act, GDPR, etc.)
- Experience building or managing enterprise privacy programs
- Strong stakeholder management and governance experience
- Ability to work cross-functionally with technology and business teams
Preferred Certifications
- CIPP/E, CIPP/A, CIPM or equivalent privacy certifications
