Parts Advisor
The Parts Advisor is responsible for providing outstanding customer service while effectively managing the parts inventory and collaborating with our skilled technicians.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in identifying and ordering the correct parts for their vehicles, ensuring a positive and informative experience.
- Promote and sell automotive parts and accessories to customers and technicians, meeting sales targets and providing expert recommendations.
- Work closely with technicians to ensure timely access to parts and assist with shop throughput and urgency.
- Look up parts, check inventory levels, and organize parts inventory to maintain an efficient workflow.
- Stay updated with OEM training and parts knowledge to provide accurate information to customers and technicians.
- Conduct research to locate parts and resolve any issues related to parts orders or availability.
- Find parts across multiple stores and manage inventory levels effectively. Pick up parts from external distributors as needed.

Ideal Skills & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; automotive background preferred.
- Previous experience in an automotive parts department or related field is a plus.
- Proficient computer skills with strong communication abilities; knowledge of automotive parts and systems is beneficial.
- Safely lift up to 50 pounds, operate a forklift, and perform bending and twisting motions as required.
