Position Summary: As a Jr. Designer, you will contribute fresh ideas and perspectives to our projects, producing sketches and renderings to communicate design concepts. You will collaborate with a dynamic team to develop user-centered designs, manage individual tasks, and support project scheduling. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality work that meets client expectations and fosters sustained relationships.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design Skills: Capable of producing high quality sketches and renderings to communicate design concepts. Familiar with basic CAD modeling techniques.
• Creative Ability: Can actively participate in ideation sessions, contributing to the generation of new product ideas. Shows an understanding of basic form development and the role it plays in design.
• Problem Solving: Demonstrates an ability to identify user problems and create appropriate and relevant solutions. Understands the basics of translating user needs into product solutions.
• Communication: Effectively communicates design ideas through sketches and verbal explanations. Can create thoughtful presentations to share design concepts with team members.
• Project Management: Assists in project scheduling and can manage individual tasks effectively. Understands the importance of meeting deadlines and budget constraints.
• Business Development: Contributes to client relationships through delivering quality work. Supports the team in identifying new business opportunities.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design or similar field.
• Previous internship or co-op experience in Industrial Design/Product Design a plus.
• Involvement in design-focused hobbies, personal projects or passionate pursuits a plus.
• 1-4 years of relevant work experience.
Physical Demands and Working Environment:
• Ability to travel to client sites or other locations as required for project work.
• Ability to sit/stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 15 pounds.
