Role Description The Printing Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Nashik Area. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end print production for books and related materials, ensuring high print quality and consistency with Bhutatma Publication’s visual and brand standards. Day-to-day tasks include preparing files for print, coordinating pre-press activities, operating and monitoring printing equipment, and overseeing bindery and finishing processes. The Printing Specialist will collaborate with authors, designers, and editorial teams to align print specifications with content and design requirements, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain production schedules. The role also involves quality checks, inventory of print materials, and adherence to safety and equipment maintenance procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong practical skills in Printing and Print Production, with experience in book or publication workflows.
- Proficiency in Pre-press processes, including file preparation, proofing, and color/format checks.
- Experience with Bindery operations such as cutting, folding, stitching, and book finishing.
- Understanding of Print Design fundamentals and ability to work closely with designers on layout and print specifications.
- Familiarity with operation and basic maintenance of printing machinery and related equipment.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple print jobs and deadlines.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Nashik Area and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in publishing or commercial printing is preferred; vocational training or certification in printing technology is an advantage.
