Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled PCB Design Engineer with hands-on experience in schematic design, PCB layout, and hardware system development. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in high-speed PCB design, multilayer boards, and EMI/EMC considerations, along with experience working closely with embedded, firmware, and manufacturing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop schematics and PCB layouts for electronic products
- Work on multilayer PCB design (2-layer, 4-layer, 6+ layer boards)
- Perform component selection, footprint creation, and library management
- Ensure signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC compliance
- Collaborate with embedded/firmware engineers for hardware integration
- Generate Gerber files, BOM, fabrication & assembly documentation
- Perform design reviews, debugging, and validation testing
- Optimize designs for manufacturability (DFM) and testability (DFT)
- Troubleshoot issues during prototyping and production stages
- Work with vendors for PCB fabrication and assembly
Required Technical Skills
Core PCB Skills
- Schematic design (Altium / KiCad / Eagle / OrCAD)
- PCB layout design (multilayer boards)
- Routing (high-speed, differential pairs, impedance control)
- Stack-up design
Hardware Knowledge
- Analog and digital circuit design
