Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and visionary Principal/Vice Principal to lead the Junior College toward academic excellence while ensuring efficient operations, regulatory compliance, and sustainable institutional growth. The Principal will oversee academic performance, administration, financial planning, admissions growth, and marketing expenditure management to ensure overall institutional success.
Key Responsibilities
1. Academic Leadership & Implementation
Lead the effective implementation of the State Board curriculum for Grades 11th & 12th with structured integration of JEE, NEET, MHT-CET, CA Foundation, and CS Foundation programs. Ensure measurable academic outcomes through syllabus tracking, performance analytics, academic audits, faculty evaluations, training initiatives, and strong Board and competitive exam results.
2. Financial Management & Budget Control
Prepare and manage the annual institutional budget in alignment with management while ensuring revenue targets and cost optimization. Monitor operational expenses, marketing ROI, and admissions revenue to maintain financial transparency, accountability, and long-term sustainability.
3. School Operations & Administration
Oversee daily academic and administrative operations including discipline, attendance, staffing, and campus management. Ensure compliance with State Board and Junior College regulations, maintain statutory documentation, and foster a safe, disciplined, and inclusive campus environment.
4. Marketing, Admissions & Growth
Drive admissions growth by collaborating with the marketing team to execute result-oriented campaigns within approved budgets. Strengthen enrolment, retention strategies, community outreach, digital presence, and parent engagement to enhance institutional visibility and reputation.
5. Faculty & Team Leadership
Provide strategic leadership to Coordinators, Marketing Managers, School Managers, PRMs, and faculty while fostering a performance-driven culture. Implement structured evaluation systems, support professional development, and ensure effective team coordination and conflict resolution.
6. Student Development & Discipline
Monitor student attendance, academic progress, and behavioral standards while implementing structured mentoring and counselling systems. Conduct regular parent interactions and cultivate a focused, competitive, and student-centric academic environment.
Leadership Expectations
Demonstrate visionary leadership aligned with institutional goals while balancing academic excellence with operational efficiency. Exhibit strong decision-making skills, financial accountability, ethical integrity, empathy, and firmness in leadership.
Qualifications & Eligibility
· B.Ed. – Mandatory
· Master’s Degree in Science/English – Preferred
· Minimum 10 years of academic experience
· At least 5 years of experience as Principal/ Vice Principal
· Strong knowledge of State Board and integrated competitive exam ecosystem
· Experience in institutional budget planning and financial management
· Exposure to admissions growth and marketing strategy
