Principal UI Engineer – Web, Mobility, IoT & Real-Time PlatformsPosition Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Principal UI Engineer to architect, design, and actively develop modern web and mobile applications that integrate real-time IoT and operational data into scalable, high-performance digital platforms.
This role is ideal for a deeply technical engineering leader who remains actively involved in coding, solution design, platform modernization, and UI engineering execution. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise across enterprise frontend architectures, mobility platforms, real-time visualization systems, and IoT-integrated user experiences.
The candidate must be capable of leading engineering initiatives while contributing directly to core application development, reusable platform components, and mission-critical UI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop enterprise-scale web and mobile applications using modern frontend technologies.
- Build responsive, accessible, and high-performance UI platforms for operational and customer-facing systems.
- Develop reusable component libraries, design systems, and micro frontend architectures.
- Integrate real-time IoT and telemetry data into dashboards, monitoring portals, and operational interfaces.
- Build real-time visualization solutions using MQTT, WebSockets, Kafka, GraphQL subscriptions, and REST APIs.
- Lead hands-on development using React, Next.js, Angular, React Native, Flutter, and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with cloud, backend, IoT, and UX teams to deliver scalable cloud-native solutions.
- Drive engineering best practices, performance optimization, observability, CI/CD, and frontend security standards.
- Mentor engineering teams and lead architecture/code reviews.
Preferred Experience
- Industrial IoT (IIoT), Manufacturing, Finance, eCommerce, Energy, Healthcare, or Connected Device platforms.
- Digital Twin, operational analytics, or predictive monitoring systems.
- AI/GenAI-enabled UI platforms and real-time operational visualization.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of frontend engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on coding and architecture expertise.
- Experience building enterprise web/mobile platforms with IoT or real-time integrations.
- Proven ability to lead UI modernization and scalable frontend platform initiatives.
