Role Summary
We are seeking a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in Electronics Hardware Design and Product Development for Automotive, Avionics, or Industrial systems, including at least 5 years in a technical leadership role. As a Hardware Design Lead, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end electronic hardware design and development for simple to complex embedded systems. Your expertise will drive architectural decisions, ensure compliance with industry standards, and deliver robust, cost-effective, and manufacturable solutions. As a technical authority, you will serve as the main interface with customers and mentor engineering teams.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead hardware design for safety-critical systems in Automotive, Avionics, or Industrial domains
- Define system architecture and evaluate trade-offs for optimal technical solutions
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Interface directly with customers for technical discussions and solution alignment
- Mentor team members and build technical capability within the organization
Key Qualifications
- Expertise in Analog, Digital, Mixed-Signal, and Power Electronics Design
- Knowledge of Domain Standards (ISO 26262, DO-254, IEC/UL, etc.)
- Experience in Product Engineering & Validation, Hands-On Design, and Estimation
- Quality & Process orientation with structured product development lifecycle experience
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and coordination skills
