Job Description — RWE SAS Programmer

Role: RWE SAS Programmer Experience: 6–12 Years Location: Remote

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAS Programmer with a strong background in Real World Evidence (RWE) / Real World Data (RWD) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with large real-world datasets and translating them into meaningful analytical outputs.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, validate, and maintain SAS programs for RWE studies using real-world data sources such as claims, EHR, and patient registries

Work with Common Data Models (CDM/OMOP) and Clinical Data Repositories (CDR) for data standardization and extraction

Collaborate with biostatisticians, epidemiologists, and medical teams to support study design and analysis

Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with project timelines

Prepare and review analysis datasets, tables, listings, and figures (TLFs)

Must-Have Skills

Extensive hands-on SAS programming experience (Base SAS, SAS Macro, PROC SQL)

Prior experience in RWE/RWD projects

Exposure to CDM, CDR, or OMOP data structures

Familiarity with real-world data sources — claims, EHR/EMR, registries
