Senior / Principal QA Automation Engineer – AI Implementations & Banking Solutions
📍 Location: Pune / Hybrid

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior / Principal QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in AI implementation testing, Automation Testing, and Banking/BFSI platforms.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience validating AI-powered enterprise applications, testing intelligent workflows, and building scalable automation frameworks for complex Banking systems. The role requires strong functional testing expertise along with exposure to AI/ML-based applications, Generative AI implementations, API automation, and enterprise integrations.
Candidates with experience in Corporate Banking, Syndicated Lending / IG Syndicate platforms, Digital Banking, and AI-enabled automation projects will be highly preferred.
Key ResponsibilitiesCore QA & Automation Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end QA strategy and testing activities for Banking/BFSI applications
- Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, API, and UAT testing
- Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium/TestNG or equivalent tools
- Develop and execute automation scripts for UI, API, and backend validations
- Validate APIs and microservices using Postman, Swagger, RestAssured, or similar tools
- Perform database validation and backend testing using SQL
- Support CI/CD-integrated automation execution using Jenkins or similar platforms
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, release planning, and QA estimations
- Manage defects, reporting, and QA metrics using Jira/ALM/Zephyr
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, and Architects
- Mentor junior QA engineers and drive automation best practices
AI Implementation Testing Responsibilities
- Validate AI/ML-based enterprise applications and AI-driven workflows
- Perform functional testing of:
- AI-powered decision engines
- Intelligent automation solutions
- OCR/document processing systems
- Chatbots and virtual assistants
- Generative AI / LLM-based applications
- Validate AI outputs, prompts, workflows, recommendations, and business rules
- Perform edge-case testing, bias validation, and response accuracy testing
- Validate AI integrations with enterprise Banking platforms
- Test AI-enabled APIs, microservices, and orchestration layers
- Support testing of AI pipelines, inference flows, and model integrations
- Contribute to AI-assisted automation and self-healing test frameworks
- Work closely with AI/Data Science teams for functional validation and model verification
Required Skills & ExperienceMandatory Skills
- 10–16 years of experience in Manual & Automation Testing
- Strong Banking / BFSI domain experience
- Hands-on experience in Corporate Banking, Lending, Payments, or Syndicated Lending platforms
- Experience testing AI implementations or AI-enabled enterprise applications
- Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver with TestNG/JUnit
- Good understanding of Java or Python
- Strong API Testing experience using Postman, Swagger, RestAssured, etc.
- Strong SQL and database testing capabilities
- Experience with Agile / Scrum delivery models
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, QA methodologies, and automation frameworks
- Experience using Jira, ALM, Zephyr, or similar tools
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership abilities
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Generative AI / LLM-based application testing
- Exposure to AI-assisted test automation tools
- Experience in Automation Framework architecture/design
- CI/CD pipeline integration using Jenkins/GitLab
- Experience in performance testing using JMeter or LoadRunner
- Exposure to cloud platforms and cloud-native applications
- Mobile application testing experience
- Experience with Digital Banking and Core Banking platforms
- Knowledge of AI model validation concepts is an advantage
