We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Scientist with expertise in nutraceutical product formulation to join our R&D team.
Job Title: Principal Scientist – Nutraceutical Product Development
Experience: 10-15 Years
Department: R&D – Nutraceuticals
Qualification: Master’s or Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Food Technology, Biochemistry, or related field
Location: Karakapatla, Siddipet.
Skills Required:
· Deep understanding of functional ingredients, excipients, and dosage forms.
· Proven experience in developing products from lab scale to market.
· Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
· Proficient in tech transfer and production troubleshooting.
· Experience with international regulatory standards (USFDA, EFSA, etc.).
Job Description:
· Lead formulation development of nutraceutical products such as Tablets, Capsules, Powders, Effervescent, Liquids, and Diskettes.
· Manage end-to-end product development including trials, stability studies, and packaging evaluation.
· Conduct market research and ingredient benchmarking to support innovation and new launches.
· Perform pilot trials, optimize formulations, and ensure scale-up feasibility for commercial batches.
· Drive technology transfer to production, including detailed documentation and process support.
· Work cross-functionally with QA, QC, Production, Purchase, and Regulatory teams.
· Ensure compliance with FSSAI, AYUSH, and relevant international guidelines.
· Stay updated with industry trends, new ingredients, and innovative delivery formats.
· Maintain thorough documentation of formulations, processes, and regulatory records.
