This is a leadership role without the need for title-driven authority. As a Principal Product Manager, you define product direction, solve ambiguous problems, and drive outcomes that shape the business. You operate across teams, influence senior stakeholders, and bring clarity where there isn’t any.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive product strategy for a critical area of the business
- Translate ambiguous business problems into clear product opportunities
- Lead end-to-end product lifecycle — discovery, prioritization, execution, and iteration
- Partner closely with engineering, design, and business teams to deliver outcomes
- Define success metrics and ensure data-driven decision-making
- Drive alignment across stakeholders, including leadership teams
- Identify and unlock new growth opportunities through product innovation
- Mentor other product managers and elevate product thinking across the org
Core Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in product management, with a track record of owning large, complex products
- Ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels
- Deep understanding of product discovery, user behavior, and market dynamics
- Strong analytical thinking — comfortable working with data and metrics
- Experience working with engineering teams building scalable systems
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proven ability to influence decisions without direct authority
