Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic academic leader for the position of Principal – Pharmacy Department, responsible for academic leadership, regulatory compliance, institutional development, and overall administration of the pharmacy institute.

Eligibility Criteria (As per PCI Norms)

• Qualification:
• Ph.D. in Pharmacy (Mandatory)
• M.Pharm with specialization in any recognized branch of Pharmacy
• Experience:
• Minimum 15 years of teaching/research/industry experience
• Out of which at least 5 years as Professor/HoD in a PCI-approved institution
• Other Requirements:
• Strong academic record with research publications in indexed journals
• Experience in handling PCI inspections, approvals, and compliance
• Administrative experience in managing institutional operations

Key Responsibilities

• Provide academic and administrative leadership to the department
• Ensure compliance with PCI, HPTU, AICTE, and NAAC/NBA guidelines
• Oversee academic planning, curriculum implementation, and quality assurance
• Lead accreditation processes, inspections, and audits
• Promote research, innovation, and industry collaborations
• Manage faculty recruitment, development, and performance evaluation
• Ensure discipline, student welfare, and academic excellence
• Coordinate with regulatory authorities and university bodies

• Strong leadership and institutional management skills
• Expertise in regulatory compliance and documentation
• Ability to drive admissions, branding, and academic growth
• Exposure to NAAC/NBA accreditation processes
• Strong industry-academia connect
