Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic academic leader for the position of Principal – Pharmacy Department, responsible for academic leadership, regulatory compliance, institutional development, and overall administration of the pharmacy institute.
Eligibility Criteria (As per PCI Norms)
- Qualification:
- Ph.D. in Pharmacy (Mandatory)
- M.Pharm with specialization in any recognized branch of Pharmacy
- Experience:
- Minimum 15 years of teaching/research/industry experience
- Out of which at least 5 years as Professor/HoD in a PCI-approved institution
- Other Requirements:
- Strong academic record with research publications in indexed journals
- Experience in handling PCI inspections, approvals, and compliance
- Administrative experience in managing institutional operations
Key Responsibilities
- Provide academic and administrative leadership to the department
- Ensure compliance with PCI, HPTU, AICTE, and NAAC/NBA guidelines
- Oversee academic planning, curriculum implementation, and quality assurance
- Lead accreditation processes, inspections, and audits
- Promote research, innovation, and industry collaborations
- Manage faculty recruitment, development, and performance evaluation
- Ensure discipline, student welfare, and academic excellence
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities and university bodies

- Strong leadership and institutional management skills
- Expertise in regulatory compliance and documentation
- Ability to drive admissions, branding, and academic growth
- Exposure to NAAC/NBA accreditation processes
- Strong industry-academia connect
