Role Description The Principal Officer will lead overall operations, compliance, and governance for Kairne Capital IFSC, ensuring adherence to applicable regulations and internal policies. This full-time, on-site role in Gandhinagar Taluka involves overseeing fund management activities, supervising client onboarding and documentation, and coordinating with regulators, auditors, and other external stakeholders. The Principal Officer will guide risk management practices, monitor investment processes, and support the design and execution of fixed income product strategies. Responsibilities include managing a small cross-functional team, setting performance standards, and maintaining strong professional relationships with investors and partners. The role also requires preparing and reviewing reports, presentations, and communications for internal leadership and regulatory submissions.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of financial services, capital markets, and fixed income products, with experience in activities auxiliary to financial intermediation.
- Proven background in regulatory compliance, governance, and risk management, ideally within an IFSC or similar regulated environment.
- Five years Experience in fund management, investment advisory, or wealth management, including oversight of fundraising or investor relations.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills, with the ability to work closely with senior partners and external regulators.
- Advanced communication, analytical, and documentation skills, including proficiency in preparing reports, policies, and formal correspondence.
- Relevant professional qualification such as CA, CFA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent, along with familiarity with IFSCA regulations.
- Ability to work on-site in Gandhinagar Taluka, with a high level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
