We are seeking a Principal .NET Engineer to provide technical leadership, define architecture, and drive best practices across high-scale .NET applications. This role combines hands-on development with system design, mentoring, and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and design of enterprise-grade .NET applications
- Own technical direction for complex, high-traffic, and mission-critical systems
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions using .NET / .NET Core
- Review code and enforce engineering best practices and standards
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers; act as a technical escalation point
- Collaborate with product, DevOps, security, and business stakeholders
- Drive cloud-native design patterns (microservices, event-driven systems)
- Evaluate and introduce new technologies and frameworks when appropriate
- Ensure system reliability, observability, and performance optimization
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software development experience
- Deep expertise in C#, .NET, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core
- Strong experience with REST APIs, Web APIs, and service-oriented architecture
- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server and/or NoSQL databases
- Expertise in design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean architecture
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP acceptable)
- CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure-as-code
- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
