We are seeking applications for the position of Principal MEP Designer for the Southern bey of bangle for the Airport Project.
Missions/Main Duties
- Lead the design and integration of MEP systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, building automation, and utility services.
- Ensure compliance with international codes, aviation authority standards, energy efficiency norms, and sustainability benchmarks.
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, and other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Review and approve contractor submissions, shop drawings, and material specifications for MEP systems.
- Provide technical guidance during design development, tendering, and construction phases.
- Conduct system load calculations, energy modeling, and value engineering exercises.
- Monitor on-site implementation of MEP works to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to project timelines.
- Liaise with stakeholders including airport authorities, government agencies, and consultants.
Profile/Skills
- Graduate Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 20 years of professional experience in design and execution of MEP systems.
- Must have successfully completed at least one contract of similar nature of work (Airport / Terminal Building / Metro Station / 5-Star Hotel / shopping mall / Multi-Specialty Hospital).
- Strong expertise in design of large-scale, centrally air-conditioned buildings and airport infrastructure.
- Familiarity with international codes and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC, IS Codes) and advanced design practices.
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
