Basic Qualifications: - A bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience 7 - 10 years of relevant experience in core software development, with strong coding and debugging abilities, and an interest towards big data. Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages Understanding of software development principles, quantitative abilities, data structures, problem-solving and knowledge of design patterns and robust analytical skills with an ability to work in an agile environment. The candidate should possess strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills along with effective written and verbal communication abilities. The candidate should be capable of independent project execution, including the ability to translate complex data into understandable results. Ability to operate with focus, discipline, and minimal supervision along with attention to detail and ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams. At least 1 year of people and team management experience, having led a team of at least 2 members Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with financial markets will be an added advantage
