Role Description The Principal Law College role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bilaspur. The Principal will oversee academic and administrative operations of the law college, including curriculum planning, faculty supervision, and student affairs. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements, maintaining high academic standards, and promoting research and professional development in legal education. The Principal will lead strategic initiatives, manage budgets and resources, and build partnerships with legal professionals, universities, and regulatory bodies. The role also involves mentoring faculty and students, fostering an inclusive learning environment, and representing the institution at official and professional forums.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Law (Ph.D in relevant Subject is mandatory) from a recognized institution, with strong academic and professional credentials.
- 15+ Years Of Experience are Preferred
- Significant experience in legal education, academic administration, or leadership roles in law colleges or universities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of legal curriculam, bar council and regulatory guidelines, and higher education quality standards.
- Proven ability in academic planning, faculty management, and policy implementation within an educational setting.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skills with a collaborative and transparent management style.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage effectively with students, faculty, and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory practices and promotion of ethical and professional values in legal education.
- Experience in research, publications, or professional contributions to the legal field is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage budgets, resources, and institutional development initiatives alignd with the organization’s vision.
