Role: Principal CPE Test Engineer – Automation
Exp: 6-10 Years
Location: Chennai
JD
- 6+ years of experience in test automation, validation, and component-level development for CPE or embedded platforms.
- Deep expertise in Python with strong test automation and development experience in Robot Framework.
- Solid understanding of Broadband standards.
- Proven ability to architect, develop, and scale reusable test components and frameworks, and to lead the evolution of CPE platform test environments. ·
- Strong expertise in Wi-Fi standards (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax) with hands-on experience validating Wi-Fi chipsets, drivers, firmware, and system integrations. ·
- Demonstrated experience driving end-to-end Wi-Fi validation strategies, including performance, stability, interoperability, and stress testing.
- Strong test automation and development experience in Robot Framework
Good-to-Have
- Hands-on experience with Ixia or Spirent tools, ability to define test methodologies and throughput metrics.
- Ability to mentor junior engineers, provide technical direction, and influence test architecture and best practices across teams.
- Strong collaboration skills, working closely with component vendors, firmware developers, and system architects to resolve complex issues and improve product quality.
